Vocational Routeways is an 18 week programme that forms part of our Work Programme delivery model.
The purpose is to improve the client’s opportunity to gain sustainable employment through increasing their skills and experiences in specific sectors.
Clients will have the opportunity to improve their general employability and skills in their chosen industry through work placements, and through participation in workshops or other training sessions.
All clients are set a minimum of 3 different learning/employment objectives which they must complete alongside their job searching during their 18 weeks of provision.
Learning/Employment objectives will be packages of work which are designed by providers to up-skill a client in a particular area. A learning or employment objective will:
be either a work placement, accredited or non-accredited training;
comprise a minimum of 3 different interactions which need to be undertaken to be classed as completed;
as a minimum include job searching skills, interview success, IT skills and customer service.
