Ingeus Vocational Routeways
The Lennox Partnership delivered an 18 week Vocational Routeway programme, for Work Programme customers, in West Dunbartonshire and Glasgow.
This was designed to up-skill customers in the core employability skills required to compete favourably in the labour market .
Customers worked through a range of employability modules including applications / assessment days / competency based interviews and employers expectations.
Over 4 years of delivering The Lennox Partnership support 138 customers into employment through the Vocational Routeway programme.
Vocational Routeways is an 18 week programme that forms part of our Work Programme delivery model.
The purpose is to improve the client’s opportunity to gain sustainable employment through increasing their skills and experiences in specific sectors.
Clients will have the opportunity to improve their general employability and skills in their chosen industry through work placements, and through participation in workshops or other training sessions.
All clients are set a minimum of 3 different learning/employment objectives which they must complete alongside their job searching during their 18 weeks of provision.
Learning/Employment objectives will be packages of work which are designed by providers to up-skill a client in a particular area. A learning or employment objective will:
be either a work placement, accredited or non-accredited training;
comprise a minimum of 3 different interactions which need to be undertaken to be classed as completed;
as a minimum include job searching skills, interview success, IT skills and customer service.
